Dear Parents/Guardians,
Applying to Stepney All Saints Sixth Form
I am pleased to report that the Sixth Form Team have now presented in Year 11 assembly outlining the processes, protocols, support and opportunities available at Stepney All Saints Sixth Form. The PowerPoint presentation has been uploaded to the Year 11 Google Classroom for your child and yourself to review.
In order to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible, I have outlined the key dates and events below for your reference. Please be assured that we are here to help support your child in making this difficult, yet exciting, decision.
Autumn Term:
- One-to-one Careers Interviews for all Year 11 students.
- Subject-based assemblies: Heads of Departments will explain course content and expectations.
- Online application for SASS Sixth Form Open Evening is now open. The deadline is Wednesday 12th January 2022 (access via the school website and please carefully check the criteria for attending).
- Online application for a place in the SASS Sixth Form is now open. Deadline is Monday 28th February 2022 (access via the school website).
Spring Term:
- Wednesday 12th January 2022: Sixth Form Open Evening.
- Monday 28th February 2022: deadline for applications to the Sixth Form.
- Senior Leadership Team will interview every Year 11 student to discuss choices and review applications.
- Conditional Offers will be sent out (based on meeting course criteria, attendance, punctuality and behaviour expectations).
Summer Term:
- Taster sessions (students choose and attend lessons that they have chosen)
- Online transition programme
