Calling young people aged 13-19 years old
Join our fantastic, free, 8-day summer school this August and work with the brilliant and high
profile street dance company IMD
Try out dance styles including Hip Hop, African dancing, contemporary, break dancing,
locking and body popping.
This hugely successful professional dance group have achieved several TV appearances
including Britain’s Got Talent, Got to dance and XFactor, and have recently won 1st Place in
the Team Division of World of Dance DV (Global Dance Visual Competition)
This will lead to the creation of 5-10 minute video where young people from Tower Hamlets
and dancers from IMD can come together, on film, for an online debut as part of Black
History Month 2021.
Workshops run from Sunday 1 August to Monday 9 August at the Brady Arts Centre, Studio
Theatre, 192-196 Hanbury Street, Whitechapel E1 5HU
Times: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun 10.30am-1.30pm except registration at 10am on 1st and times
tbc for 9th (filming in Victoria Park).
