We are recruiting an HR Officer to play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of the HR function within the School.

Providing a high quality generalist HR service, the post holder will focus on recruitment, payroll, and providing management information. S/he will also work flexibly and undertake general HR work as necessary.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for payroll with the School’s external payroll provider, administering the recruitment process from start to finish, advising and supporting line managers on good practice, being the first point of contact for payroll and other HR queries from across the School.

The successful applicant will have substantial experience of running payroll and using payroll systems, demonstrable knowledge of HR processes, and the ability to maintain tact, confidentiality and discretion. You will have excellent organisational skills, a high attention to detail and be willing to keep informed of changes and updates to employment law.

In case of resignation/retirement it will be kept for a further 7 years (legal obligation) and then securely destroyed.
