There are a variety of financial opportunities available to support students whilst they are studying, please see below for more information.

16-19 Bursary Fund
If you fall into one of the following categories, you may be entitled to the 16-19 Bursary Fund:
•Disabled young people
•Young people in care
•Care leavers
•On Income Support or receiving Universal Credit in place of Income Support
•In receipt of Free School Meals
Free School Meals
In order to be entitled to statutory free school meals you or your parents must be in receipt of one of the following:
•Income Support
•Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
•Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
•Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
•The Guaranteed element of State Pension Credit
•Child Tax Credit, provided that you are not entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual income of £16,190 or less.
Tower Hamlets EMA and University Bursary
The Portal Trust University Grants
Two recognised students will be awarded a £1,000 bursary per year for the duration of their studies after Year 13.
