Stepney All Saints Celebrates First Eucharist at St. Dunstan’s Church
Stepney All Saints School has marked a significant milestone in its spiritual journey by celebrating its first Foundation Eucharist service at St. Dunstan’s Church. The service, attended by students, staff, represents a growing partnership between the school and the historic church, reinforcing its Christian ethos and commitment to collective worship.
The event was led by Reverend Trevor Crichlow from St. Dunstan’s Church, with students playing an active role in readings and prayers. Many described it as a meaningful and reflective experience, deepening their understanding of traditions.
Strengthening Church Links
Building on this success, the school has introduced half-termly visits for students admitted under foundation places, offering them the opportunity to engage in worship, guided reflections, and discussions on Christian teachings. Additionally, these church services are now open to all students, ensuring everyone can participate in and benefit from these experiences.
Expanding Worship to Embrace Diversity
Looking ahead, the school plans to make the Eucharist service a regular event, expand parental engagement in faith-based activities, and develop collaborative outreach projects with St. Dunstan’s Church.
As Stepney All Saints continues to grow its partnership with the church and faith leaders from across the community, it remains committed to inspiring students to explore faith, reflect on values, and build a more compassionate world.
