Entry Requirements
There are a number of pathway options to select when studying at Stepney All Saints Sixth Form. Please read through the information below before completing the application for to ensure that you are applying for the pathway for you.
A Level (Academic)
Basic entry requirements for all A-Level subjects are a minimum of 8 GCSEs at grade 6, with Grade 6 or above in GCSE English Language or GCSE English Literature and GCSE Mathematics. Additionally, some subjects also have subject specific entry requirements, which are outlined in the table below:

| MATHEMATICS | A-Level | 7 or above in GCSE Mathematics. Students will also be expected to sit a Maths proficiency test to assess their suitability for the A-Level course. |

Level 3 (Vocational)
General entry requirements for all Level 3 vocational courses are 5 Grades 9-4 at GCSE Level (including English Language or Literature, Mathematics and Science).

Combined - A Level and Level 3 (Academic & Vocational)
Option of combining certain Level 3 BTEC courses and certain A Levels.
The entry criteria for this pathway is to have 5 Grades 9-5 at GCSE Level (including at least a grade 4 in English Language or Literature, Mathematics and Science).
For all A Levels that students select, they must also meet the individual requirements for this course.
Students can select to complete one Level 3 subject and 2 A Level subjects.
Level 2
General entry requirements for all Level 2 vocational courses are a minimum grade 3 in English Language or Literature & Maths and at least three other subjects, including Science.
Level 2 students will study the Level 2 subject chosen, along with GCSE English Language (mature) and/or GCSE Mathematics (mature).
