Expanding Horizons

Our Global Learning Journey Continues

Our commitment to global learning remains at the heart of our school’s ethos. As one group of students returns from an enriching visit to France, another is preparing to depart for a cultural and linguistic experience in the south of Spain.

Looking ahead to the next academic year, we are excited to be planning new international projects and visits to partner schools in Denmark and Tanzania. These initiatives are made possible thanks to funding from the Turing Scheme—the UK government’s global programme for study and work abroad. The Turing Scheme enables students, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to access transformative international experiences that build confidence, skills, and cultural awareness.

We are also proud to hold the British Council International School Award, which recognises our long-standing commitment to embedding internationalism across the curriculum and providing students with meaningful opportunities to engage with the wider world.

Through these ongoing projects and partnerships, we continue to broaden our students’ horizons and prepare them to thrive as global citizens.
