Dear parent/carer
Re: Teachers’ Strike – Wednesday 15th & Thursday 16th March
Following on from my letter last week, the school will be closed for students in Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 on Wednesday 15th March and Thursday 16th March due to strike action. Students in these year groups are expected to maintain a routine and use this day as an opportunity to complete any outstanding homework and pre-learning activities for lessons. Details regarding the arrangements for students in Year 11 and 13 will be circulated. In addition, those students we feel would benefit from additional study support on this day will be invited in. If you have not been contacted, please do not send your child in to school on this day.
Free School Meals
Those students in Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 who are on free school meals are able to collect a packed lunch for both days on Wednesday at 12.30pm from reception. If your child is eligible for free school meals and will be collecting a packed lunch please complete the following form
