Finance Manager

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and committed Finance Manager to join our team, and to support the School Business Manager in planning and managing the school’s financial resources effectively and in accordance with policies and procedures, to ensure probity.

This will include the development, implementation and maintenance of school financial procedures and systems, ensuring that all legal and governance requirements are met. The successful applicant will also lead and manage the day-to-day financial controls, administration, monitoring and reporting systems in order to underpin the services and activities of the school.

The successful applicant will have substantial experience of working in a similar role, have excellent organisational skills, and a high attention to detail. They will be forward-thinking with the passion and skills to build on the impressive achievements of our school, acting as a driver for further improvement and efficiency.

The application form of the successful candidate will be kept for the duration of employment. In case of resignation/retirement it will be kept for a further 7 years (legal obligation) and then securely destroyed. The successful application form and supporting forms (e.g. bank details etc.) will be sent to LBTH Payroll and EPM (Educational Personnel Management) for processing.

The unsuccessful application forms are kept for 6 months and then they are securely destroyed.
